About the Opportunity

We now have an exciting opportunity for full-time Mechanical Fitters & CNC Machinists to join our team, working out of our workshop in Gladstone, QLD.

To be considered, you will hold a relevant trade qualification and demonstrated experience in your respective field.

Mechanical Fitter – In this role you will be comfortable with a varied workload as well as performing key duties described below:

• Working on a diverse range of repairable spares, including pumps and valves. 
• Performing disassembly, assessing of components, and executing reassembly
• Conducting breakdown work, including troubleshooting, and diagnosing issues

CNC Machinist – In this role you will be comfortable with a varied workload as well as performing key duties described below:

• Demonstrate a high level of experience in Milling and Turning
• Programming and setting of Fanuc and Mazak Milling Machining Centres, CNC Lathes and Borers
• Conventional machining experience would be advantageous

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a trade qualification in Fitting & Turning or equivalent, coupled with post-trade experience would be advantageous. You will also have demonstrated knowledge in your respective field and have proven ability to understand and interpret complex mechanical manufacturing drawings.
