About the Opportunity

We now have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Technical Coordinator to join our team, working out of our office in Gladstone, QLD.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining and managing the infrastructure and machinery of Berg Engineering. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing technical specifications, inspection plans, and drawings for repairs
• Coordinating machine and equipment maintenance, as well as infrastructure and building repairs
• Maintaining machine records, technical manuals, and documentation according to QA requirements
• Liaising with staff, suppliers, and customers to ensure effective communication and feedback
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and company policies and procedures
• Coordinating and managing special projects and CAPEX execution
• Facilitating 5S implementation and conducting audits

About You 

To be successful in this role, you will hold a mechanical trade qualification and five years of post-trade experience. You will have exhibited a comprehensive grasp of hands-on engineering, demonstrating expertise in fitting, CNC operations, and the responsibilities associated with the role of a supervisor or leading hand.

We're seeking a Technical Coordinator with a trade background and strong knowledge of CNC Machines, Manual Lathes/Borers, HNK, VTC, and infrastructure maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medium-sized engineering company or similar. 

Additionally, you are ideally someone who Ignites team synergy with an inspiring coaching mindset and dynamic communication skills, creating a collaborative environment that fuels innovation and success!
